If I’ve heard this once, I’ve heard it a million times, which is why I’m aiming to redefine what an SEO is. An honorable SEO who sticks to white hat techniques and provides excellent service that they can stand by should be able to let a client know exactly what they are doing, exactly when they are doing it, and for exactly how long. My clients are mostly Gilbert small business owners who have small marketing budgets. They have a right to know where their money is going and how it is being used. Too many times SEO’s claim to be doing much more work then they truly are. They automate services, ‘spin’ the same blog 500 ways, and spend as little time as possible on client projects. At Linwright Design, I’d say we are the exact opposite of that character.
This is why I’ve updated my services sheet to include the following:
- At no extra cost, I will now provide a detailed summary of exact tasks completed during the month. This will be provided at the end of every month along with the end-of-the-month analytics. This PDF will show every blog posted both on and off-site, as well as any articles or content created. It will not include any social media updates.
- At no extra cost, I have invited you to join HiTask, my personal task management system where I record hours spent on each client, as well as tasks completed. Here you will be able to log on at any time and see exactly when and what I’m doing on your projects.
- At no extra costs, I will provide a detailed time sheet at the end of every month outlining exactly how many hours I spent on your projects as well as what tasks were completed.
